Side Quests & Activities

Side Quests and other activities are crucial for gaining Influence and unlocking achievements in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Completing these missions contributes significantly to your overall progression and power as the Inquisitor. Always have your agents (Josephine, Leliana, and Cullen) actively completing War Table Operations to further your efforts.

Influence can be gained through various actions:

Completing Side Quests
Executing War Table Operations
Turning in Research
Making specific decisions
Completing Requisitions
Finishing Main Quests

A completionist approach, fully exploring and completing all available content, will ensure you reach high Influence Ranks. It is possible to reach Rank 17 by the end of the game. Before starting the Main Quest "In Your Heart Shall Burn," resolve any unfinished business in Haven and speak with all companions, as carrying on will void any remaining Haven Side Quests. The Main Quest "In Hushed Whispers" should be started after completing all other Side Quests and exploration in the Hinterlands, Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, and Forbidden Oasis.

Skyhold Customization offers unmarked collection quests for Decor and Heraldry. These are accessed by interacting with the Skyhold Customization Menu found in Skyhold's Undercroft.
