Nappa is a brute force opponent. As various Z-Fighters, you'll need to chip away at his health. Utilize characters with strong Ki attacks to keep him at bay. When playing as Piccolo, try to land his Special Beam Cannon. As Krillin or Tien, focus on quick, evasive maneuvers and combo extenders. Don't let him corner you, as his close-range attacks are devastating.
