Your mission is to correct distortions in the timeline, ensuring the Dragon Ball universe unfolds as it should. This section will guide you through each pivotal moment, offering strategies and tips to secure a perfect victory.

Saiyan Saga Part 1: Raditz Attacks

The first major distortion you'll encounter involves Raditz's arrival on Earth. Prepare for an intense introduction to combat mechanics and time distortion anomalies.

• Objective: Defeat Raditz and protect the timeline.
• Location: Plains (Earth)
• Key Characters: Goku, Piccolo, Raditz
• Strategy:
  1. Initial Encounter: You'll join Goku and Piccolo against Raditz. Focus your attacks on Raditz. He's a powerful foe for early game, so don't be afraid to use your basic combos and charged Ki Blasts.
  2. Distortion Alert: After a certain amount of damage, the timeline will distort. Raditz will gain a significant power boost, and his attacks will become more aggressive. This is where your intervention becomes crucial.
  3. Targeting the Anomaly: The game will prompt you to target the "Time Distorted Raditz." Prioritize breaking his guard with heavy attacks or guard breaks to open him up for combos.
  4. Teamwork is Key: While Goku and Piccolo are AI-controlled, they will still contribute. Try to coordinate your attacks, perhaps by using a Super Attack when Raditz is distracted by an ally.
  5. Ultimate Finish Condition: To achieve an Ultimate Finish (which often yields better rewards like Z-Souls or rare equipment), you'll typically need to defeat Raditz within a specific time limit and/or with a certain amount of health remaining for your allies. Keep an eye on Goku and Piccolo's health bars.

• Tips:
  • Before starting, ensure your character is equipped with your strongest available gear from the Conton City shops.
  • Practice your basic combos in the Training Area if you're new to the game.
  • use your evasive skills (usually L2/LT + X/A) to avoid Raditz's more powerful attacks.
  • If you're struggling, consider doing a few Parallel Quests to level up your character and unlock new skills.

Saiyan Saga Part 2: The Saiyan Invasion

Following Raditz's defeat, the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa poses an even greater threat. This mission will test your ability to handle multiple powerful opponents.

• Objective: Defeat Nappa and Vegeta, protecting Earth's defenders.
• Location: Wasteland (Earth)
• Key Characters: Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Nappa, Vegeta
• Strategy:
  1. Initial Phase - Nappa: You'll first face Nappa alongside Earth's Special Forces. Focus your attacks on Nappa. He's a brute, so look for openings after his heavy attacks.
  2. Saibamen Encounter: At some point, Nappa will summon Saibamen. These are weaker enemies but can be a nuisance. Prioritize taking them out quickly to prevent them from overwhelming your allies. A well-placed area-of-effect Super Attack can clear them out efficiently.
  3. Distortion Alert - Nappa: Nappa will eventually become "Time Distorted." His power will increase, and he might use his "Bomber DX" or "Giant Storm" more frequently. Be prepared to block or evade these.
  4. Vegeta's Intervention: Once Nappa is defeated (or critically damaged), Vegeta will step in. This is where the fight gets significantly harder. Vegeta is fast and hits hard.
  5. Distortion Alert - Vegeta: Vegeta will also become "Time Distorted." He'll unleash his signature attacks like "Galick Gun" and "Final Flash." Maintain your distance when he charges these, or try to interrupt him with a well-timed strike.
  6. Ultimate Finish Condition: Defeat both Nappa and Vegeta without any of your key allies (Goku, Piccolo, Gohan) being defeated. This requires careful management of the battlefield and potentially drawing aggro from your allies.

  • Ultimate Finish Bonus: "I'm the Strongest in the Universe!" Z-Soul (Boosts all stats when fighting multiple opponents), Nappa's Battle Suit, Vegeta's Battle Suit (Scouter included!)
• Tips:
  • Consider bringing healing items like "Senzu Bean" if you have any, or "All-Energy Capsule S" to keep your Ki and Stamina up during the prolonged fight.
  • If you have any Super Souls that boost your defense or reduce damage, equip them.
  • When fighting Vegeta, try to bait out his attacks and then counter-attack. Don't go in blindly, as he can punish mistakes severely.
  • Focus fire on one enemy at a time to reduce the number of threats on the field.

Saiyan Saga Part 3: Goku's Arrival

The final confrontation of the Saiyan Saga sees Goku finally arrive to turn the tide. Your role here is to support Goku against the formidable Prince of all Saiyans.

• Objective: Assist Goku in defeating Vegeta.
• Location: Rocky Area (Earth)
• Key Characters: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin
• Strategy:
  1. Goku vs. Vegeta: You'll primarily be assisting Goku against Vegeta. Vegeta will be incredibly powerful here. Your main goal is to draw Vegeta's attention away from Goku when he's charging a powerful attack, or to land some damage while Goku is comboing him.
  2. Kaioken Power-Up: Goku will eventually use Kaioken. When he does, his power will significantly increase. Try to capitalize on this temporary boost by unleashing your strongest attacks alongside him.
  3. Distortion Alert - Vegeta (Great Ape): The most significant distortion here is Vegeta transforming into a Great Ape. This is a massive threat. Your primary objective shifts to destroying his tail.
  4. Great Ape Strategy:
     • Target the tail! Use Ki Blasts and Super Attacks to chip away at the Great Ape's tail.
     • The Great Ape has powerful, sweeping attacks. Stay mobile and use your evasive skills.
     • If you can, try to get behind the Great Ape to attack the tail more safely.
     • Gohan and Krillin will also be present, but their damage output against the Great Ape is limited.
  5. Final Confrontation: Once the Great Ape is defeated, Vegeta will revert to his normal form, but he will be "Time Distorted" and even more enraged. This is the final push. Work with Goku to finish him off.
  6. Ultimate Finish Condition: Defeat Vegeta (both forms) with Goku's health above a certain threshold and without any of your allies being defeated. This can be challenging due to the Great Ape phase.

  • For the Great Ape phase, consider equipping Super Attacks or Ultimate Attacks that have a wide area of effect or high damage output, as the tail can be a tricky target.
  • If you have any Super Souls that boost your Ki Blast damage, they can be very effective against the Great Ape's tail.
  • Don't be afraid to use your Awoken Skill (if you've unlocked one) during the final fight against distorted Vegeta to maximize your damage output.
  • Keep an eye on Goku's health bar throughout the fight, especially during the Great Ape phase. If he goes down, you'll fail the Ultimate Finish.
