Extreme Z-Battles (EZAs) are challenging events designed to further strengthen older, less relevant characters by giving them an 'Extreme Z-Awakening'. This process significantly boosts their stats, updates their passive skills, and enhances their Super Attack effects. EZAs consist of 30+ stages, with each stage increasing in difficulty. The key to success in EZAs is building a team around specific categories and types that receive a massive stat boost against the EZA boss. For example, an EZA boss might be weak to 'Pure Saiyans' and 'Super AGL' characters. Completing EZA stages rewards you with EZA Z-Awakening Medals and Dragon Stones, making them a highly valuable source of resources and character upgrades.
