Upon awakening, Rubiss will guide you to your first base. Your initial tasks are to learn the absolute basics of building. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully.
- Break 5 Dirt Blocks: Use Square/Y to break the dirt blocks around you.
- Place 5 Dirt Blocks: Use Circle/B to place the dirt blocks you just gathered.
- Craft a Cypress Stick: Find the nearby Workbench. You'll need 1 Wood. Break a tree to get it.
- Craft a Stone Axe: Requires 3 Stone. Break some nearby rocks.
- Build a Simple Bedroom: This is your first major building task. You need a room with 2-block high walls, a door, and a light source. The easiest light source is a Torch (1 Wood, 1 Oil). Place a Straw Mat (1 Plant Fiber) inside to complete the room. This will attract Pippa.
Pippa will be your first villager and will provide further quests. Always prioritize building functional rooms as they increase your base level and attract more NPCs. equip your new Cypress Stick for combat and Stone Axe for faster resource gathering.
