Heat Survival Tips:

  • Build a Cool Room: Early on, create a room with a Cooling Fan (requires Iron Ingot, Windbreaker) to provide a safe haven from the heat.
  • Craft Heat-Resistant Gear: You'll eventually unlock recipes for armor that reduces heat damage. Prioritize these.
  • Stay Hydrated: While there's no direct 'thirst' mechanic, having healing items is always good.

Mining Obsidian:

Obsidian is a crucial material in Kol, used for powerful tools and structures. It's formed when water meets lava. You'll need to create your own obsidian sources.

  1. Find a Water Source: Locate a natural spring or create a well.
  2. Dig Channels: Carefully dig channels to direct water flow towards lava rivers.
  3. Mine Obsidian: Once water and lava meet, they will form obsidian blocks. You'll need a strong pickaxe, such as the Steel Pickaxe (requires Steel Ingot), to mine it efficiently.

Obsidian is not only a building material but also a key component for crafting the legendary Hammer of the Builder. Be cautious when working with lava; falling in will result in instant death.
