The world of Accordia is vast and interconnected. You'll navigate through various regions, each with its own unique environments and challenges. The world map is accessed via the menu or by pressing the Touchpad/View button. From here, you can see all discovered locations, current objectives, and available side quests.
Travel between major locations is often done via Zoomstones, which act as fast travel points. Once you've activated a Zoomstone in a new area, you can instantly warp back to it from almost anywhere on the world map. This is incredibly convenient for completing quests, revisiting towns, or farming materials. Within larger zones, you'll traverse on foot, encountering various monsters and hidden treasures. Always keep an eye on your mini-map for points of interest and potential dangers.
