Each character in Dragon Quest Heroes has a specific weapon type they can wield (e.g., swords for Luceus/Aurora, axes for Doric/Yangus, wands for Jessica). Weapons are the primary source of a character's attack power. Higher-tier weapons will significantly boost your damage output. Weapons can be acquired through various means: purchased from the Weapon Shop in the Stonecloud, found in treasure chests during missions, or crafted at the Alchemy Pot. When choosing a weapon, prioritize raw attack power, but also consider any secondary effects it might have, such as elemental bonuses (e.g., 'Flame Sword' for fire damage) or stat boosts (e.g., 'Agility Sword' for increased agility). Regularly check the Weapon Shop for upgrades and always craft the best available weapon at the Alchemy Pot if you have the materials. Some unique weapons are only obtainable through Mini Medal exchange or post-game challenges.
