Objectives: Explore Ashalam, purchase new gear, gather information.
- From the shrine south of Romaria, continue south across the desert until you reach Ashalam.
- Ashalam is a large town with a unique bazaar. Explore all the shops. You'll find a wide array of new weapons, armor, and items, including some powerful upgrades.
- Pay special attention to the 'Pachisi Track' (also known as Sugoroku) if you're playing a version that includes it. This mini-game can yield valuable items.
- Talk to all the townspeople. You'll hear about the Pyramid to the east and its hidden treasures, as well as the dangers within.
- There's a special 'Night Market' in Ashalam. If you visit at night (in versions with a day/night cycle), you can find different vendors and items.
- Stock up on supplies, especially Antidotes and Holy Water, as the Pyramid is filled with undead and poisonous enemies.
- Head east from Ashalam to find the Pyramid.
Important Items: Many new weapons and armor available for purchase.
Recommended Party Level: 9-11 before entering the Pyramid.
