Key Items

Key items are unique, non-consumable items that are essential for progressing the main story or unlocking new areas and abilities. You cannot discard them, and they are usually obtained through specific quests or by defeating bosses.

Important Key Items:

• Thief's Key: Opens blue locked doors. Obtained in Reeve.
• Magic Key: Opens all locked doors (blue and red). Obtained in the Pyramid.
• Dream Ruby: Awakens the Elder in Portooga, granting access to the Ship. Obtained in the Dream Ruby Cave.
• Ship: Allows you to sail the world's oceans. Obtained from the Elder in Portooga.
• Sunstone: Required to create the Rainbow Drop. Obtained in the Tower of Tedanki.
• Staff of Rain: Required to create the Rainbow Drop. Obtained in the Shrine of the Staff of Rain.
• Rainbow Drop: Creates a rainbow bridge to Baramos's Castle. Created by combining Sunstone and Staff of Rain.
• Orbs (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, Silver): Six magical orbs required to summon the legendary bird, Ramia. Each orb is found in a different location or dungeon.
• Book of Satori: Allows a character to change their vocation to a Sage. Very rare, often found as a reward from the Medal King or a Pachisi Track.
• Echoing Flute: Reveals the location of any remaining Orbs. Found in a specific dungeon.
• Light Orb: The ultimate key item, used to defeat Zoma.

Keep track of your key items, as they often provide clues about your next objective. If you're stuck, check your inventory for any recently acquired key items and consider what they might be used for.
