Hero's Legendary Gear

The Hero's ultimate equipment provides unparalleled defense and often comes with resistances to various ailments or spells. Collecting these pieces is a long-term goal but well worth the effort for the final chapters and post-game content.

Zenithian Sword: This legendary blade is found in the Zenithian Tower. You'll need to progress through the main story, obtain the Zenithian Helmet and Shield, and then climb the tower to claim it. It boasts incredible attack power and is essential for the Hero's offensive capabilities.
Zenithian Armour: Located in the Azimuth, a hidden town accessible via the Flying Carpet after obtaining the Zenithian Shield. Speak to the Elder there to receive it. This armor provides top-tier defense and often grants resistance to breath attacks.
Zenithian Shield: Discovered in the Royal Crypt, a dungeon found near the town of Canalot. You'll need to navigate its treacherous passages and defeat the guardian within to claim this vital piece of equipment. It offers excellent defensive stats and sometimes reflects spells.
Zenithian Helmet: Found in the town of Zenithia, which becomes accessible later in the game. It's often given to you as part of the main story progression after certain events unfold. The helmet provides strong defense and can sometimes boost wisdom or magic resistance.

Strategy: Prioritize obtaining the Zenithian Shield and Helmet as soon as they become available, as their defensive boosts will significantly aid your Hero. The Zenithian Sword and Armour are typically acquired later but complete the set, making your Hero an unstoppable force.

Alena's Critical Hit Focus

Alena, with her high agility and critical hit rate, benefits immensely from equipment that further enhances her damage output. While she can't equip heavy armor, focusing on weapons that boost her critical chances is key.

Falcon Blade: This exceptional weapon allows Alena to attack twice per turn. It can be purchased in the town of Mintos after certain story events, or sometimes found as a rare drop from specific enemies in later dungeons. The double attack significantly increases her damage per round, especially when combined with her natural critical hit rate.
Strength Ring: While not strictly a "set" with the Falcon Blade, equipping a Strength Ring (found in various treasure chests or purchased in certain towns like Endor) will further boost Alena's attack power, making each of her two hits even more devastating.
Metal King Shield: Although Alena cannot equip the Zenithian Shield, the Metal King Shield (a rare drop from Metal King Slimes or found in specific post-game areas) offers the highest defense for characters who can equip it, providing a crucial defensive boost without sacrificing her offensive focus.

Strategy: Aim to get the Falcon Blade for Alena as soon as possible. Its double attack property is a game-changer for her. Pair it with the best available light armor and a Strength Ring to maximize her damage output. keep her HP topped up, as her defensive options are limited.

Borya's Magical Might

Borya, as a powerful spellcaster, benefits from equipment that boosts his Wisdom and MP, allowing him to cast more potent spells more frequently.

Staff of Antimagic: This staff, often found in later dungeons or purchased in specialized shops, can silence enemies, preventing them from casting spells. While not directly boosting Borya's stats, it's a powerful utility weapon for him to have equipped when not casting offensive spells, especially against other magic-users.
Sage's Stone: This invaluable accessory, found in the Secret Base (a hidden area accessible via the Flying Carpet), allows the wielder to cast Midheal for free in battle. Equipping this on Borya allows him to contribute to healing without expending his precious MP, freeing him up for offensive magic.
Magic Armour: Purchased in various towns in the mid-to-late game, Magic Armour offers good defense and often provides resistance to magical attacks, making Borya more durable against enemy spellcasters.

Strategy: Equip Borya with the Sage's Stone as soon as you acquire it. This greatly enhances his utility. Prioritize staves that boost his Wisdom or offer beneficial effects like the Staff of Antimagic. Ensure he has the best available magical robes or armor to protect him, as his physical defense is typically lower.
