With your newly recruited monster, your next goal is to reach the Sky-High Spire, a prominent landmark in the Floating Ruins. This will require utilizing your monster's Fortes. If you recruited a monster with 'Launch', look for ledges or platforms that are just out of reach. Position yourself correctly and press Y to activate the monster's Forte, launching you upwards. If you have a monster with 'Glide', you can use it to cross gaps. The path to the Spire will involve a combination of jumping, launching, and potentially gliding. Keep an eye on your mini-map for the objective marker. You'll also encounter more enemies along the way, so practice your combat skills. use your Slingshot (ZR) for ranged attacks or to stun enemies.
