Your monster companions grow stronger as they gain experience from battles and treasure hunts. Here's how to optimize their training and growth:
- Experience Points (EXP): Monsters gain EXP by participating in battles and by successfully appraising treasures you've found. The more valuable the treasure, the more EXP your party receives.
- Leveling Up: As monsters level up, their stats (HP, Attack, Defense, etc.) increase, and they may learn new abilities or improve existing ones.
- Training Grounds: At your base, you can utilize the 'Training Grounds' facility to passively level up monsters that are not in your active party. This is a great way to keep your entire roster strong.
- Monster Medals: Collecting 'Monster Medals' (dropped by defeated monsters of the same species) can be used to further enhance a monster's stats or unlock special abilities.
- Food & Treats: Feeding your monsters specific foods or treats can temporarily boost their stats or provide other beneficial effects during expeditions.
Regularly check your monsters' stats and abilities. A well-trained and leveled-up monster party can make even the toughest challenges manageable.
