Consumable items are your bread and butter for survival in Dragon Quest VII. These items are used once and then disappear from your inventory. Key consumables include:
- Medicinal Herb: Restores a small amount of HP. Essential throughout the entire game.
- Antidotal Herb: Cures Poison.
- Holy Water: Repels weaker monsters on the field for a short time.
- Chimaera Wing: Teleports you to a previously visited town. Invaluable for quick travel.
- Magic Water: Restores MP. Crucial for spellcasters.
- Yggdrasil Leaf: Revives a fallen ally with full HP. Extremely rare and should be saved for emergencies.
- Seed of Strength/Defense/Agility/Wisdom/Life/Magic: Permanently increases a character's respective stat. Use these strategically on characters who benefit most from the boost.
