The world of Dragon Quest XI S offers extensive exploration opportunities, with various features designed to enhance your journey. One crucial element is the Zoom spell, taught by Veronica, which allows for quick travel between visited locations. Additionally, keep an eye out for Tockles, as finding them unlocks new content in Tickington.

After Veronica joins your party, she will teach the Hero the Zoom spell. This invaluable spell enables instant teleportation to any city or campsite you have previously visited. Using Zoom frequently will save considerable time during your travels.

During your exploration, you will encounter creatures called Tockles. These Tockles are scattered throughout the world and are essential for accessing additional content in Tickington. Finding Tockles provides you with "Pastwords" that unlock exclusive 2D dungeons. While some Tockles can be easily missed, none are permanently missable, allowing you to return and find them later. Clearing all the new content from Tickington, unlocked by finding Tockles, will allow you to fight a new hidden boss and earn new costumes not available in other versions of the game.
