The Dundrasil Region serves as a key area in your early adventures, offering vital resources and introducing you to new traversal methods. Here, you'll find the ruins of a fallen kingdom, a campsite for rest, and opportunities to acquire useful items and equipment. Keep an eye out for mounted enemies that can aid in your exploration and combat.
Dundrasil Region Exploration
After leaving Zwaardsrust, head west into the Dundrasil Region. Your primary mode of transportation here will be a Horknight, which you can find and mount to cover ground more quickly. Along the southern edge of the first lake you encounter, pick up the Necklace of Immunity. This accessory is highly beneficial for an upcoming boss fight. At the next fork in the road, take the southwest path. Just south of the campsite, you'll discover ruins. Within these ruins, locate a blue Tockle to learn another Pastword. Behind the Tockle, you'll find the Rod of Rapidity, a powerful staff for Veronica.
Continuing north from the Dundrasil Region will lead you to Octagonia. Upon entering, proceed straight ahead to s up for the fighting contest. After this, make your way behind the contest area and ascend via the elevator. Go up and into the arena for a cutscene. Following the cutscene, descend the elevator. It's highly recommended to purchase and forge the best available gear for the Hero in Octagonia. Rest at the inn and save your game with the yellow-hooded man after the subsequent cutscene. Your first major challenge in Octagonia will be a battle against the Abominable Showman and the Underdigger.
