Royal Library

The Royal Library is a labyrinthine structure filled with ancient knowledge and intricate mechanisms. To progress, you'll need to decipher its puzzles, activate ancient machinery, and uncover the secrets it holds. This dungeon is a test of your problem-solving skills and your party's combat prowess.

Accessing the Royal Library

After defeating Jormun and acquiring the Face Invader mount, you can access the Royal Library. Use the Face Invader's ability to break through ice blocks to reach the entrance. Once inside, proceed directly towards the pink dot on your map.

Navigating the Library's Puzzles

The Royal Library is characterized by its rotating towers and interactive pillars. You must interact with green-topped pillars to alter the library's structure. The general progression involves activating switches to rotate sections of the tower, opening new paths. Keep an eye out for Tockles who may offer valuable passwords or hints.

1. Activate the first green-topped pillar near the slime.
2. Head to the southeast and activate the switch to rotate the tower.
3. Proceed through the new entrance and up the stairs.
4. Collect the password from the yellow Tockle.
5. Continue upwards and navigate the central circle, taking left turns initially.
6. Find a chest containing an Urn of Saint's Ashes.
7. Go clockwise around the circle and activate the next switch in an alcove.
8. Ascend the stairs revealed by the switch.
9. Locate and defeat a Mimic in the southern chest for a Seed of Skill.
10. Activate the switch on the central platform.
11. Descend stairs, activate another switch in an alcove, and ascend again.
12. Find the secret chamber and activate the switch within.

Boss Battle: Krystalinda

Upon exiting the library, you will face Krystalinda. This boss is weak to fire, making Veronica a valuable asset. Serena's Hymn of Ice can also be beneficial against her ice-based attacks.
