The Red Dragon is one of the most powerful regular enemies in the game, acting as a gatekeeper to the Dragonlord. They are found frequently in the Dragonlord's Castle. Recommended Level: 20-25. Strategy: Red Dragons have high HP, strong physical attacks, and can breathe fire for significant damage. You absolutely need the Flame Sword (or Sword of Erdrick) and Full Plate Armor (or Armor of Erdrick). Use 'Healmore' consistently. If you have 'Firebane', it can deal decent damage, but physical attacks are often more reliable. Consider using 'Stopspell' if you find their fire breath too damaging, though it's not always effective. These encounters are resource drains, so be prepared to use many Medicinal Herbs and MP.
