Upon receiving 120 Gold from King Lorik, head directly to the Weapon Shop and Item Shop within Tantegel Castle. Your primary goal is to acquire a basic weapon and armor. The Club (60G) is the cheapest weapon available and a significant upgrade from your bare fists. For armor, the Leather Armor (30G) offers a decent defense boost for your early encounters. After purchasing these, you'll have 30 Gold remaining. It's highly recommended to spend this on at least two or three Medicinal Herbs (8G each) from the Item Shop. These will be invaluable for healing during your initial excursions outside the castle. To equip items, open your menu, select 'Equip', and then choose the item and the slot. Always ensure you have the best available gear equipped.
