The Shield of Erdrick is located in the Swamp Cave, a treacherous dungeon found to the south of Rimuldar. This cave is notorious for its poisonous swamp tiles, which deal damage with every step. Ensure you have plenty of Medicinal Herbs and ideally the 'Healmore' spell before entering. The Swamp Cave is also home to some of the game's toughest regular enemies, such as Starwyverns and Goldmen. The Shield of Erdrick is hidden deep within the cave, often requiring you to navigate a maze-like structure. It's usually found in a treasure chest. This shield is the best in the game, offering a substantial defense boost. Be prepared for a long and challenging dungeon crawl, and remember to save frequently at Rimuldar before attempting this.
