General Strategies Against Enemy Keepers

While each rival Keeper might have slight variations in their preferred creatures or room layouts, several core strategies will serve you well in any confrontation:

• Early Expansion & Gold Control: Just like you, enemy Keepers need gold to thrive. Prioritize claiming gold veins near your Dungeon Heart and, if possible, expanding towards theirs to cut off their income. A Keeper without gold is a Keeper without an army.
• Scouting is Key: Use your Imps to scout aggressively. Identify their Dungeon Heart location, their creature types, and their preferred defensive setups (e.g., heavily trapped corridors, powerful creature patrols). Knowledge is power in the dungeon.
• Target Their Economy: If you can't cut off their gold, consider raiding their Treasury or even their Gold Veins directly with a small, fast strike force (e.g., Bile Demons, Trolls). Destroying their gold supply will cripple their ability to train and maintain creatures.
• Destroy Their Lair: A Keeper without a Lair cannot house creatures. A well-placed strike on their Lair can cause their creatures to become unhappy and eventually leave, or even attack their own Keeper.
• Focus Fire on Key Rooms: Beyond the Lair, consider targeting their Training Room to prevent creature leveling, their Library to hinder spell research, or their Hatchery to starve their creatures.

• Their Weakness: Low health, weak attacks, vulnerable to area-of-effect spells.
• Your Strategy:
  1. Early Defense: Prioritize building a strong, central Lair and a well-staffed Training Room. Get a few powerful creatures (e.g., Horned Reapers, Bile Demons) trained quickly.
  2. Boulder Traps: Place these in narrow corridors leading to your Dungeon Heart. They are incredibly effective against large groups of weak creatures.
  3. Lightning Spell: Research and cast this spell on groups of their creatures. It can clear out entire waves with ease.
  4. Guard Posts: Station a few powerful creatures (e.g., Dark Mistresses, Trolls) at choke points to hold the line.

The Spellcaster Keeper (Warlocks/Bile Demons)
