The Dungeon Heart is the core of your entire operation. If it's destroyed, you lose the mission. Your first objective in any mission is to secure and protect it. It's typically located in a pre-dug chamber at the start of the level. Immediately begin digging around it to create a buffer zone. Prioritize digging towards gold veins to fund your expansion. Remember that the Dungeon Heart also generates a small amount of Mana over time, so keeping it safe is paramount for your spellcasting capabilities. Never leave your Dungeon Heart exposed to enemy incursions; always build defenses around it as soon as possible.
