Traps are your first line of defense against invading heroes. The Boulder Trap releases a rolling boulder that crushes anything in its path. The Spike Trap deals damage to heroes walking over it. The Guard Post alerts you to intruders and can be garrisoned by creatures. The Lightning Trap zaps heroes with electricity. The Alarm Trap simply alerts you to hero presence. The Poison Gas Trap slowly damages and weakens heroes. Strategically placing these traps in corridors and choke points can significantly weaken hero forces before they even reach your creatures or Dungeon Heart. Combine different trap types for maximum effect.
