Instead of simply killing heroes, you can capture and convert them to your side. Build a Prison to hold captured heroes. Once imprisoned, you can build a Torture Chamber. Dropping heroes into the Torture Chamber will slowly convert them to your alignment. Converted heroes become powerful creatures like Dark Mistresses or Skeletons, depending on their original class. Be careful, as heroes can escape from Prison or die in the Torture Chamber if left unattended. This is a great way to gain powerful creatures without attracting them normally, but it requires careful management and investment in specific rooms.
