DDO uses a standard WASD control scheme for movement. 'W' moves forward, 'S' moves backward, 'A' and 'D' strafe left and right. The mouse controls your camera and targeting. Left-click interacts with objects and targets enemies, while right-click holds to rotate the camera. Pressing 'Spacebar' jumps. Combat is real-time: left-click to attack, and use your hotbar for abilities. You can toggle between 'Mouselook' mode (where your mouse directly controls the camera) and 'Click-to-Move' mode (where you click to move and interact) by pressing 'X'. Experiment with these controls in the tutorial area to find what feels most comfortable for you. Remember to bind frequently used skills to easily accessible hotkeys.
