DDO is an MMO, and playing with others significantly enhances the experience. Joining a guild (kinship) offers numerous benefits: a community to play with, access to guild buffs (XP, loot, healing), and often shared resources. Guilds can also provide advice, help with quests, and organize raids. Use the 'Social' panel ('O' then 'Social') to find guilds recruiting or to look for pick-up groups (PUGs) for specific quests. Don't be afraid to use the chat channels to ask for help or offer to join a party. A well-coordinated group can tackle much harder content than a solo player, and the social aspect is a core part of DDO's charm.
