Immediately upon embark, designate a 3x3 or 5x5 area for digging into a hillside or mountain. This will be your initial shelter. Inside, carve out a small 'Dining Hall' and a few 'Bedrooms' (d-z). Prioritize building a 'Carpenter's Workshop' and 'Mason's Workshop' to create beds, doors, and tables/chairs. Designate a 'Wood Cutting' area and a 'Stone Gathering' area. Ensure you have a 'Food Stockpile' and 'Wood Stockpile' near your workshops.
