The Demolisher is a large, heavily armored infected that you first encounter in Rais's arena during 'The Pit' quest. It's slow but incredibly powerful.
Phases & Attacks:
- Charge: The Demolisher will charge directly at you, dealing massive damage if it connects. Dodge to the side.
- Ground Pound: If you're close, it will slam its fists into the ground, creating a small shockwave.
- Rock Throw: It will rip chunks of concrete from the ground and hurl them at you from a distance. These are slow and can be dodged.
Strategy:
The Demolisher is heavily armored on its front. Its primary weakness is its unarmored back and legs. Focus your attacks there. Use the arena's pillars for cover to avoid its charges and rock throws. When it charges, dodge, then immediately sprint behind it and unleash a flurry of melee attacks. If you have throwing weapons (Molotovs, grenades), use them to stun or deal damage. Explosives are particularly effective. Keep moving, manage your stamina, and don't get greedy with your attacks. Retreat to heal if necessary. The fight is a war of attrition; patience is key.
