Quarantine Zones are marked on your map with a biohazard symbol. These are self-contained areas, often buildings or sewers, that are heavily infested with a high concentration of infected. Your objective is usually to clear out all infected and secure valuable supplies (often Antizin or rare crafting materials). These zones are challenging and often require careful planning, good gear, and a solid understanding of combat. They are excellent for farming XP and rare loot. Be prepared for Volatiles, especially if you enter at night. Always ensure you have a full stock of medkits, throwing weapons, and a durable melee weapon before entering a Quarantine Zone.
