Maliketh, the Black Blade (Nightfall) is one of the most challenging bosses. In Phase 1, you fight the 'Beast Clergyman (Nightfall)'. He's fast and aggressive, using bestial incantations and a large dagger. Watch for his 'Stone of Gurranq' and 'Beast Claw' attacks, which now deal dark damage. His new 'Shadow Roar' attack creates a dark shockwave. In Phase 2, he transforms into Maliketh. He is incredibly agile, using his Black Blade to inflict 'Destined Death (Nightfall)', which reduces your maximum HP and drains it over time. His 'Blade of Death' projectiles are faster and track better. Stay close, dodge through his attacks, and punish his brief recovery windows. Parrying his attacks with the 'Blasphemous Claw' (if you have it) can create openings. Reward: Remembrance of the Black Blade (Nightfall).
