The Ghostflame Dragon is an optional field boss found west of the Abandoned Ailing Village, near a lake. This dragon uses powerful ghostflame attacks, which can inflict Frostbite status effect. Its attacks include breath attacks, tail swipes, and stomps. Staying mounted on Torrent is highly recommended for this fight, allowing you to quickly close distances and avoid its wide-ranging attacks. Target its head for critical damage opportunities. When it prepares a ghostflame breath, try to get behind it or ride away quickly. Upon defeating the Ghostflame Dragon, you will be rewarded with x1 Dragon Heart and x1 Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, a rare upgrade material for unique weapons. This is a challenging but rewarding optional encounter.
