Larval Tears are an incredibly valuable consumable in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, allowing you to re-spec your character's stats. If your current build isn't performing as expected or you wish to experiment with new weapons and spells, finding and utilizing these tears is essential.

These rare items are scattered throughout the Land of Shadow, often hidden in obscure locations or dropped by specific enemies. The ability to re-allocate your attribute points means you can fundamentally change your character's strengths and weaknesses, adapting to new challenges or optimizing for specific playstyles. This is particularly useful when encountering new weapon types or spell schools that require different stat distributions.

One common method to obtain Larval Tears involves defeating certain specific enemies. Keep an eye out for unique-looking foes or those that appear in unusual circumstances, as they are more likely to drop these valuable resources. Exploration is key; thoroughly search every nook and cranny of the new areas, as tears can be found in chests, behind illusory walls, or as rewards for completing small environmental puzzles.
