They are also sometimes dropped by specific enemies, particularly those of a spectral or undead nature.

There are typically different tiers of Ghost Gloveworts, indicated by numbers (e.g., Ghost Glovewort [1], Ghost Glovewort [2], etc.). Each tier allows for a certain range of upgrades. For instance, Ghost Glovewort [1] might be used for upgrades 1-3, while Ghost Glovewort [2] would be for upgrades 4-6, and so on, up to the maximum upgrade level for a given Spirit Ash.
