Continue along the path until you reach the Church of Consolation. Inside, an elite Black Knight patrols. You can either engage him for the Black Steel Greathammer, Black Knight Helm, and Smithing Stone [6], or sneak around to the altar to collect x2 Scadutree Fragment. These fragments are crucial for boosting your power in the Shadow Realm. Outside the church, to the east, is a small Messmer Soldier camp where you can find x2 Fire Coil. Explore the western edge of the plain near the church to find a Lump of Flesh behind some stone heads. Further east, near a waterfall, locate a small altar to pick up a Revered Spirit Ash, which enhances your Spirit Ashes and Torrent. Remember to use these new items at a Site of Grace to power up.
