Full Walkthrough: Enir-Ilim
Enir-Ilim is the final major Legacy Dungeon in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, a celestial realm of shattered architecture and cosmic energies. This area is a linear ascent, culminating in a confrontation with a powerful demigod. Be prepared for challenging encounters and intricate platforming.

Gaining Access to Enir-Ilim
Access to Enir-Ilim is granted after defeating Messmer the Impaler in the Shadow Keep. A new path will open in the main chamber where Messmer was fought, leading to a teleporter that transports you directly to the First Rise of Enir-Ilim.
Arrival in Enir-Ilim: First Rise
- Upon arrival, activate the First Rise Site of Grace immediately.
- Head forward, navigating the broken celestial pathways. You'll encounter new enemy types, including spectral warriors wielding cosmic energy. Their attacks are often delayed and have wide arcs; prioritize dodging into their attacks rather than away.
- Look for a path leading downwards to a small, isolated platform. Here, you can find a Scadutree Fragment tucked away near a crumbling pillar.
- Continue along the main path, which will involve some careful jumps across floating debris. Be wary of the large, slow-moving celestial constructs that patrol these areas; they hit incredibly hard.
- You'll soon reach a larger, more stable platform. On the far side, behind some debris, is a corpse holding a Starlight Shard.
- The path forward involves a series of ascending platforms. Keep an eye out for glowing, ephemeral enemies that can teleport; they often ambush from above.
Heading Deeper into Enir-Ilim: Spiral Rise
- Eventually, you'll arrive at a spiral structure. Activate the Spiral Rise Site of Grace at its base.
- This area is a continuous ascent. The spiral path is often guarded by multiple spectral warriors and the larger celestial constructs. Consider using ranged attacks or Spirit Ashes to thin out groups before engaging.
- Loot Detour (Euporia Weapon): As you ascend the Spiral Rise, keep an eye on the outer edge. At a certain point, roughly halfway up, you'll see a small, detached platform below with a glowing item. Carefully drop down to retrieve the Euporia weapon. This is a unique Greatsword with high Faith scaling. Be careful with the jump back up; you may need to find a slightly lower point to jump from.
- Continue upwards. You'll encounter more aggressive variants of the spectral warriors, some of whom can cast minor cosmic spells.
- Near the top of the Spiral Rise, you'll find a small alcove containing a Miquella's Great Rune Fragment, a crucial item for the expansion's lore.
Going Up Enir-Ilim: Cleansing Chamber Antechamber
- After completing the Spiral Rise, you'll enter a more enclosed, chamber-like area. Activate the Cleansing Chamber Antechamber Site of Grace.
- This chamber is relatively straightforward, but it's heavily guarded by elite spectral enemies. One particular enemy, a spectral knight wielding a massive greatshield, can be found patrolling the central area. This enemy is highly resistant to frontal attacks; try to circle around for backstabs or use guard-breaking skills.
- In a side room off the main chamber, you'll find a chest containing the Cosmic Dust Talisman, which boosts holy damage and resistance.
- Proceed through the large archway at the end of the chamber. This leads to a long, ornate hallway.
- Midway through this hallway, you will encounter Needle Knight Leda. This is a mandatory NPC encounter that triggers a dialogue sequence. Pay attention to her words, as they provide critical lore context for the final boss. She will not engage in combat here.
The Final Ascent: Promised Consort Radahn
- Beyond Leda's encounter, the hallway opens into a grand, circular arena. Prepare yourself.
- This arena is the location of the final boss of Enir-Ilim: Promised Consort Radahn.
- Boss Strategy: Promised Consort Radahn
- Radahn in this form is a formidable opponent, wielding cosmic power alongside his signature gravity magic. He has several distinct phases.
- Phase 1: Radahn will primarily use sweeping attacks with his colossal blades and gravity-infused slams. His gravity pull attack has a wide radius; dodge towards him to avoid the worst of it. He also has a ranged cosmic projectile attack that tracks aggressively.
- Phase 2 (approx. 60% HP): Radahn will begin to incorporate more cosmic energy into his attacks. He gains a devastating cosmic explosion attack that has a significant wind-up but covers a large area. He also summons spectral versions of his war-steed, Leonard, to charge across the arena. These charges can be dodged by rolling through them.
- Phase 3 (approx. 30% HP): Radahn unleashes his full power. He will frequently float into the air, raining down cosmic debris, similar to his original fight's meteor attack, but with a more focused impact. He also gains a rapid-fire cosmic beam attack that can quickly deplete your health if not dodged precisely.
- Weaknesses: Radahn is somewhat susceptible to Scarlet Rot and Frostbite. Consider using weapons or spells that inflict these statuses. His large size makes him vulnerable to critical hits after his posture is broken.
- Recommended Spirit Ashes: Black Knife Tiche or Mimic Tear are excellent choices for drawing aggro and dealing consistent damage.
- Rewards: Defeating Promised Consort Radahn grants you the Remembrance of the Promised Consort and a significant amount of Runes.
- After defeating Radahn, a new path will open, leading you to the final areas of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
