Your character's stats determine their effectiveness in combat and utility. Understanding how they work and how weapons/spells scale with them is crucial for optimizing your build.

Primary Stats:

  • Vigor: Increases HP. Essential for survival.
  • Mind: Increases FP (Focus Points). Important for spellcasters and Weapon Art users.
  • Endurance: Increases Stamina and Equip Load. Allows for more attacks, dodges, and heavier armor.
  • Strength: Increases damage for Strength-scaling weapons. Required for heavy armor and weapons.
  • Dexterity: Increases damage for Dexterity-scaling weapons, reduces spell cast time, and reduces fall damage.
  • Intelligence: Increases damage for Intelligence-scaling sorceries and weapons. Required for most Glintstone sorceries.
  • Faith: Increases damage for Faith-scaling incantations and weapons. Required for most incantations.
  • Arcane: Increases item discovery, affects certain status effects (Bleed, Frostbite, Poison), and scales certain weapons/spells.

Scaling:

Weapons and catalysts have letter grades (E, D, C, B, A, S) indicating how well they scale with specific stats. 'S' is the best, 'E' is the worst. Prioritize weapons that scale well with your primary damage stat.
