Accessing the Consecrated Snowfield

To reach the Consecrated Snowfield, you must first assemble the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. This is a multi-step process:

Left Half: Obtain this from the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. Strike the large pot near the Site of Grace to reveal Albus, who will entrust you with the medallion half.
Right Half: This half is located in the Mountaintops of the Giants. Progress through the area until you reach Castle Sol. Defeat Commander Niall at the top of the castle to gain access to the tower where the right half of the medallion resides.

Once both halves are acquired, proceed to the Grand Lift of Rold. Instead of choosing "Raise the Medallion," select the hidden option to "Hoist Secret Medallion." This will transport you to the Consecrated Snowfield.

Navigating the Consecrated Snowfield

Ordina, Liturgical Town Puzzle:

To proceed to the Haligtree, you must solve the puzzle in Ordina. This involves entering an Evergaol and lighting four torches while avoiding Black Knife Assassins. Equip a torch or a lantern and be prepared for stealth and combat.

Torch 1: On the ground level, near the entrance to the Evergaol.
Torch 2: Up a ladder on the right side of the town, on a rooftop.

Haligtree Canopy & Town:

Haligtree Promenade: The initial area, filled with Lesser Kindred of Rot and Putrid Avatars. Be wary of their scarlet rot attacks.
Haligtree Town: A vertical section with numerous interconnected platforms and buildings. Look for hidden paths and shortcuts.
- Key Item: The Haligtree Crest Shield can be found on a corpse in the town.
- Enemies: Expect to encounter Cleanrot Knights, Misbegotten, and more Kindred of Rot.
Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree: This spectral boss guards the path deeper into the Haligtree. She is a challenging spellcaster with powerful glintstone sorceries. Focus on dodging her ranged attacks and exploiting openings after her melee combos.

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree:

Beyond Loretta, you enter Elphael, a fortified section of the Haligtree. This area is teeming with powerful enemies and offers several optional paths.

Prayer Room: A crucial Site of Grace and a safe haven.
Drainage Channel: A notoriously difficult area filled with Kindred of Rot and Scarlet Rot pools. Consider equipping items that boost immunity or provide Scarlet Rot resistance.
- Key Item: The Marika's Soreseal talisman can be found in a hidden area within the Drainage Channel, offering significant stat boosts at the cost of increased damage taken.

Phase 1 Strategy:
- Waterfowl Dance: Her most infamous attack. This multi-hit flurry is incredibly hard to dodge. Practice the timing for rolling into her first flurry, then away from the second, and finally into or around the third.
