Head north from The First Step, following the guidance of grace. You'll encounter the Gatefront Ruins, heavily guarded by Godrick's soldiers. Clear the camp to find a Site of Grace and the Map: Limgrave, West. Rest at the Site of Grace, and Melina will appear, offering you an accord. Accept her offer to gain the ability to level up and summon your spectral steed, Torrent. She will also give you the Spectral Steed Whistle.
