Early Game Encounters and Armor
The Tree Sentinel, a large knight on horseback in shiny golden armor, roams early areas. Challenging this boss early can provide a useful item. If you accidentally aggro the Tree Sentinel, you can try to run away and maintain distance. Running to the Church of Elleh will cause the boss to chase you, attempting to destroy the structure.
Armor Alteration with Boc
Boc the Seamster offers armor alteration services. To unlock his full potential and receive rewards, follow these steps:
- Meet Boc at any of the following Sites of Grace: Liurnia of the Lakes, East Raya Lucaria Gate, Altus Highway Junction, or East Capital Rampart.
- Collect the Gold Sewing Needle in the Church of Vows.
- Purchase any alterable boss armors from Enia.
- Visit Boc at any of the above Sites of Grace and give him the Gold Sewing Needle to enable boss armor alteration.
- Boc will express a desire to be rebirthed by Rennala. You have two choices:
- Give him a Larval Tear. Upon resting, Boc will appear next to Rennala. Resting again will cause him to die.
- Perform the "You're Beautiful" Prattling Pate in front of him, then discuss it.
Rewards for Boc's Questline:
- Free alteration of armors.
- Gesture: My Lord.
- Mushroom (x10).
