Crafting Recipes — Elden Ring Guide

The crafting system in Elden Ring allows Tarnished to create a wide variety of useful items, from potent consumables and status-inflicting arrows to defensive buffs and throwable explosives. To craft, you'll need a Crafting Kit and the corresponding Crafting Recipes, which are found throughout the Lands Between. Mastering crafting can significantly enhance your combat effectiveness and provide solutions to difficult encounters.

The Crafting Kit is an item you acquire very early in the game from Merchant Kalé at the Church of Elleh. Once you have this kit, you can craft at any Site of Grace or by using the Crafting menu on the go. The true key to expanding your crafting capabilities lies in finding Crafting Recipes. These are typically found in chests, dropped by enemies, or purchased from merchants. Each recipe unlocks a new item or a set of items that you can then create, provided you have the necessary crafting materials. The materials themselves are gathered from the environment, such as plants, animal parts, and minerals, or sometimes dropped by specific enemies.

Here are some essential Crafting Recipes and the items they unlock:
