Map Fragments
The vast and perilous Lands Between can feel overwhelming without a clear sense of direction. Map Fragments are your key to unlocking the secrets of Elden Ring's sprawling world, revealing the terrain, points of interest, and potential dangers that lie ahead. Collecting these fragments is a fundamental step for any Tarnished seeking to navigate effectively.
Each region in Elden Ring is shrouded in fog on your map until you discover its corresponding Map Fragment. These fragments are typically found at the base of large, stone obelisks that dot the landscape. Interacting with these obelisks will clear the fog of war for that specific area, revealing roads, dungeons, ruins, and other significant landmarks. Without them, you'll be wandering blind, potentially missing crucial items, quests, or even entire areas.
