Evergaols are mysterious, isolated arenas scattered throughout the Lands Between, offering unique challenges and valuable rewards for those brave enough to enter. These pocket dimensions often house formidable foes, including powerful bosses and unique NPCs, making them essential for progression and acquiring rare items.

Upon entering an Evergaol, you'll find yourself in a confined space, often with a single, powerful enemy. These encounters are designed to test your combat skills and adaptability. The rewards for overcoming these challenges can range from powerful Spirit Ashes and unique weapons to valuable crafting materials and Runes. Some Evergaols even contain NPCs with their own questlines or lore sificance.

One of the most common types of Evergaol encounters involves fighting a boss that you might have already encountered elsewhere, but in a more concentrated and challenging setting. These can include variations of bosses like the Erdtree Burial Watchdog, the Leonine Misbegotten, or even unique individuals like the Crucible Knight. Defeating these bosses often yields specific loot tied to their identity.

Another significant aspect of Evergaols is their role in NPC questlines. For example, the Weeping Evergaol in Liurnia of the Lakes houses the sorcerer Sorcerer Sellen, who can offer valuable insights and quests related to sorcery. Similarly, the Stormhill Evergaol in Limgrave contains the spirit of the Knight of the Great Jar, a challenging foe whose defeat can grant a powerful reward.
