The ability to wield Shouts, or Thu'um, is a cornerstone of the Dragonborn experience in The Elder Scrolls VI. Acquiring Shouts:

Dragon Tears: The primary method of learning new Shouts will likely involve discovering Word Walls scattered throughout Tamriel. These ancient inscriptions contain the words of power.
Dragon Souls: Once you have learned the words from a Word Wall, you will need to unlock their full potential by spending Dragon Souls. These souls are obtained by defeating dragons. Each word in a Shout typically requires one Dragon Soul to activate.

Types of Shouts:

Shouts vary greatly in their effects, ranging from offensive barrages to defensive buffs and utility-based powers. Some examples of Shouts you might encounter include:

Unrelenting Force (Fus Ro Dah): A classic Shout that pushes enemies away with concussive force. It can stagger opponents, knock them off ledges, or even interrupt powerful attacks.
