Phase 1: True Form
Attacks: More aggressive versions of his first encounter attacks, plus new ones:
- Multi-Slash Combo: An extended sword combo with wider reach.
- Dark Orb Barrage: Fires a dense spread of dark orbs.
- Summon Dark Spirits: Summons spectral versions of previous bosses to attack.
Strategy: This phase is a significant step up. Faden is faster and hits harder. Focus on learning his new attack patterns. Utilize your most upgraded spirits and powerful relics. Ulv and Gerrod are excellent for burst damage. Eleine or Dark Witch can provide ranged pressure. Conserve Prayer charges for the next phase.
Phase 2: Final Form
Attacks: A completely new set of devastating attacks, often involving large-scale area-of-effect spells and relentless physical assaults. This phase is highly cinematic and requires mastery of all your dodging and spirit-switching abilities.
Strategy: This is the ultimate test. The Final Form has unique attack patterns that are often difficult to predict initially. Focus on survival and learning the tells. Use your most powerful spirit combinations during openings. Don't be afraid to use all your Prayer charges. This fight is a marathon, not a sprint. Patience and precise execution are key to victory and unlocking the true ending.
