Unveiling Lily's Past

Lily's own memories are fragmented, slowly pieced together through specific interactions and item discoveries. To fully understand her connection to the Blight and her role as a White Priestess, follow these steps:

Collect all Ancient Souls: These glowing orbs, often found in hidden nooks or after defeating powerful enemies, contain echoes of the past. Each one you collect adds a new entry to the "Ancient Souls" section of your menu, revealing snippets of the White Priestesses' history and Lily's lineage.

Guardian Siegrid: Found in the White Parish. Her backstory reveals her unwavering loyalty and the tragic circumstances of her transformation.

2. Collect the Spirit's Remnants

After defeating a Blighted Spirit, they will drop a unique item, often a Remnant or a Memento. Picking this up immediately unlocks a new entry in your "Spirit" menu, providing the first glimpse into their past. For example:

4. Revisit Areas with New Abilities

Some lore-rich items are inaccessible until you acquire specific Spirit abilities. For instance, the Wall Jump from Gerrod or the Double Jump from Siegrid will allow you to reach previously unreachable ledges where hidden lore items often reside. Always backtrack and explore thoroughly as you gain new movement options.

After gaining Gerrod's ability, return to the White Parish and use the Ground Slam to break certain cracked floors, revealing hidden rooms with Ancient Souls or Relics that shed light on the Priestesses' history.
