Copper Bars are a fundamental metal resource in Enshrouded, essential for crafting early to mid-game tools, weapons, armor, and building components. Their discovery marks a significant step in your progression, allowing you to move beyond basic stone and wood to more durable and effective equipment.

Copper Bars are smelted from raw Copper Ore. Copper Ore deposits are typically found in mountainous regions and caves, often in areas with rocky terrain. The Nomad Highlands and the regions surrounding your initial starting area are good places to begin your search. Look for reddish-brown veins embedded in the rock. Mining these deposits with a pickaxe will yield raw Copper Ore.

Obtaining Copper Ore:

• Mine Copper Ore deposits in mountainous areas and caves.
• Look for reddish-brown veins in rock formations.
• Requires a pickaxe for extraction.

Once you have gathered a sufficient amount of Copper Ore, you will need to smelt it into Copper Bars. This process requires a specific crafting station: the Smelter. The Smelter is a mid-game crafting station that you will unlock as you progress through the early quests and gather the necessary resources to build it. Place the Copper Ore into the Smelter, along with fuel (such as wood or charcoal), and it will refine the ore into Copper Bars.

Copper Bars are used to craft a wide array of essential items. This includes improved pickaxes and axes, stronger melee weapons and bows, basic armor sets that offer better protection, and crucial building components like copper pipes for advanced crafting stations. Ensuring you have a steady supply of Copper Ore and a functioning Smelter to produce Copper Bars will significantly enhance your ability to survive, explore, and build in Enshrouded.
