Unlocking the Medium Backpack is tied to a specific NPC and a subsequent crafting recipe. You'll need to find and rescue the Hunter NPC. The Hunter is typically found in an Ancient Vault, often located in the earlier regions of the game. Once you have rescued the Hunter and brought him back to your base, you will need to construct his specific crafting station, the Hunter's Workbench. This workbench is where you will be able to craft the Medium Backpack.

The crafting recipe for the Medium Backpack requires specific materials. These materials are generally obtainable through gathering and hunting in the early to mid-game areas. Common ingredients include:

  • Leather: Obtained by processing animal hides. You'll need to hunt animals like deer and wolves for their hides.
