Gaining experience points (XP) is crucial for leveling up and acquiring skill points. Enshrouded offers multiple ways to farm XP, with both mining and combat being viable options.

Mining XP Farms:
Mining large deposits of ore (like Copper, Tin, or Iron) or even common stone can yield a steady stream of XP. Look for dense mining nodes in caves, mountainsides, or specific mining POIs. The Ridgeback Mine in Kindlewastes for Iron Ore, or the Umbral Hollow for Tin Ore, are excellent late-game mining spots. Early on, any large stone or copper deposit will suffice. Equipping pickaxes with higher mining speed or efficiency enchantments will maximize your XP gain per hour.
Combat XP Farms:
Repeatedly clearing enemy camps or Shrouded areas is an effective way to gain combat XP. Look for areas with high enemy density and quick respawn timers. Elixir Wells, Ancient Vaults (after initial completion), and large enemy strongholds are good candidates. For example, the Hill of Scavengers in Springlands or large Scavenger camps in Revelwood can be good early-game combat farms. Later, the Sun Temples in Kindlewastes offer high-level enemies and significant XP. Consider using area-of-effect abilities or efficient combat builds to clear these areas quickly.
Combining both mining and combat during your exploration is often the most efficient way to gain XP naturally.
