Location:
Shturman and his two 'Goons' (bodyguards) patrol the Sawmill area on Woods. They often take up positions around the lumber piles, the main office building, and the surrounding forest.
Loadout:
Shturman is a sniper, typically armed with an SVDS or SVD, using high-penetration 7.62x54R ammo (7N1, LPS GZH). He wears Class 4-5 armor and a green beanie (no helmet). His Goons are armed with various AKs and wear Class 4 armor and helmets. They are excellent shots and will suppress you.
Strategy:
- Long-Range Engagement: Shturman is best engaged from a distance with a sniper rifle or DMR. Use the terrain and trees for cover.
- Goons First: Try to eliminate his Goons first, as they are aggressive and will push your position.
- Headshots: Shturman's head is exposed. A well-placed headshot with high-penetration ammo can take him down quickly.
- Cover: Never stay in the open. Use the lumber piles and natural cover to your advantage.
- Loot: Shturman drops his unique Red Rebel Ice Pick (a valuable melee weapon and extract key for Reserve), his weapon, and often a Woods stash key. His Goons also have good gear.
Woods is a large map, so approach the Sawmill cautiously. Be aware of other PMCs also hunting Shturman.
