Daily and Weekly Tasks
Escape from Tarkov offers a dynamic system of daily and weekly tasks that provide players with consistent opportunities to earn experience, money, and valuable loot. These tasks are designed to encourage exploration of different maps, experimentation with various gear, and engagement with different aspects of the game. Completing them regularly is a highly effective way to boost your account's progression and wealth.
Daily tasks are refreshed every 24 hours, offering a new set of objectives for you to tackle. These can range from simple tasks like finding specific items in raid (e.g., a lighter, a can of food), to more involved objectives like eliminating a certain number of scavs or PMCs on a specific map, or even performing specific actions like planting or defusing items.
Weekly tasks, as the name suggests, are refreshed every seven days. These are generally more challenging and time-consuming than daily tasks, often requiring players to visit multiple maps or complete more complex combat or looting objectives. The rewards for weekly tasks are typically more substantial, including larger sums of money, significant experience boosts, and sometimes rare or high-value items.
The benefits of completing these tasks are manifold:
- Experience Gain: Tasks provide a significant chunk of experience, helping you level up your PMC faster.
- Monetary Rewards: Many tasks reward you with roubles, which are essential for buying gear and supplies.
- Loot and Items: Some tasks reward you with valuable items that can be used in your Hideout, sold on the Flea Market, or equipped for raids.
- Trader Reputation: Completing tasks for specific traders can increase your reputation with them, unlocking better gear and more quests.
- Quest Progression: Many main story quests are gated behind the completion of a certain number of daily or weekly tasks.
To effectively manage your daily and weekly tasks:
- Check Regularly: Make it a habit to check your task list at the start of each play session.
- Prioritize: Some tasks might al with your planned raids. If you're going to Woods anyway, see if there's a Woods-related task you can complete.
- Combine Objectives: Look for tasks that can be completed simultaneously. For example, if you have a task to kill scavs on Customs and another to find a specific item on Customs, you can work on both in a single raid.
- Don't Force It: If a task seems too difficult or requires a specific map you're not comfortable with, it might be better to skip it and wait for the next reset, especially for daily tasks.
By consistently engaging with daily and weekly tasks, you create a steady stream of rewards that significantly accelerates your progression and makes your journey through Tarkov more manageable and profitable.
